Mr. Dhawale P. A. (padhavale@coe.sveri.ac.in), Assistant Professor in Mechanical Engineering Department, SVERI’s College of Engineering, Pandharpur

Hello,

This is an attempt to transfer the knowledge through college in the benefit of the village by the students. This aims on providing information, of different schemes by central and state government, to the college students through presentation / seminars/ webinars. The students after getting the knowledge of government schemes must have to take its advantage for fulfillment of their family needs at village level.

Majority of the students took admission to any technical and non-technical institutes are from rural background. The main source of students family is farming and traditional small scale business. Most of the peoples are uneducated and unskilled or semiskilled.

Every year different schemes are provided by the governments for different sectors and for different community people.  As we people are from agriculture background, college must have to focus and transfer the knowledge of different schemes related to agriculture and agriculture based businesses to the students. This knowledge then gets transferred to families of the students. This will help to famers / students families to apply for the schemes and to take its benefits in order to have the economical stability.
